By downloading, installing, or using CatchMate ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App. These Terms apply to all users of the App, including free and paid subscribers.
CatchMate is a fishing companion app that provides tide data, bite time predictions, weather conditions, fishing spot maps, catch logging, and community features for anglers in Australia. The App is operated by Starla Digital (ABN registered, Australia).
You must be at least 13 years of age to use CatchMate. By using the App, you represent that you meet this requirement. If you are under 18, you must have parental or guardian consent.

CatchMate offers an optional premium subscription called Cast Club, available as:
Cast Club unlocks premium features including enhanced bite time data, advanced map features, priority competition entries, and more.
A free trial may be offered at our discretion. If a free trial is offered, you will not be charged until the trial period ends. Cancelling before the trial ends will prevent any charge.
Subscriptions are billed through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store. Payment is charged to your App Store or Google Play account at confirmation of purchase. Subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing period unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the renewal date.
You may cancel your Cast Club subscription at any time through your device settings:
Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. You will retain access to Cast Club features until that date. No partial refunds are provided for unused time.
All purchases are processed by Apple or Google. Refund requests must be submitted directly to Apple or Google through their respective support channels. We do not have the ability to issue refunds for App Store or Google Play purchases.
We reserve the right to change subscription prices. You will be notified of any price changes in advance. Continued use of Cast Club after a price change takes effect constitutes acceptance of the new price.
CatchMate may run prize draws and competitions from time to time. These are subject to separate competition terms and conditions displayed at the time of entry. Key conditions include:
CatchMate competitions are conducted under applicable Australian law. Prize draws with a total prize value under $3,000 AUD do not require a permit in Queensland; larger prizes are subject to permit requirements.
You may submit content to CatchMate including catch logs, photos, posts, and comments ("User Content"). By submitting User Content, you:
We reserve the right to remove any User Content that violates these Terms or our community standards.

CatchMate provides general fishing information and regulation summaries for reference only. Fishing regulations change frequently. It is your responsibility to check current regulations with the relevant state or territory authority before fishing. CatchMate accepts no liability for reliance on regulation information displayed in the App.
Tide, weather, bite time, and location data is sourced from third-party providers. This data is provided for informational purposes only and may not always be accurate. CatchMate accepts no responsibility for decisions made based on this data, including safety decisions on or near water.
Always prioritise your safety and the safety of others when fishing or boating.
All content, features, and functionality of the App (excluding User Content) are owned by Starla Digital and are protected by Australian and international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our express written permission.
You may delete your account at any time from within the App under Profile > Delete Account. Upon deletion, your personal data will be removed in accordance with our Privacy Policy. Deleting your account cancels any active Cast Club subscription access but does not automatically cancel the underlying subscription — you must cancel separately through your App Store or Google Play account.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms, engage in fraudulent activity, or if required by law. Where possible, we will notify you before termination.
To the maximum extent permitted by Australian law, CatchMate and Starla Digital are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App, including but not limited to loss of data, personal injury, or property damage.
These Terms are governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Queensland.
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via the App or by email. Continued use of the App after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
